Hi,

I'm trying to get a modem bank up and running that used to be attached
to an NT box. The PC has an Equinox card in it, model number: SST64-128P

With a 20020424-1.5ZC snapshot GENERIC kernel, dmesg spits this out:

Equinox Systems product 0x0808 (serial communications, interface 0x80,
revision 0x01) at pci0 dev 10 function 0 not configured

Equinox has a web site with a source RPM:
http://ww2.equinox.com/tech/eq_drivers.nsf?OpenDatabase&Start=3D1&Count=3D3=
0&Expand=3D6

The site also has numerous UNIX drivers (mostly commercial), a few of
which NetBSD can emulate, afaik ..

Why does /netbsd get so close to figuring this card out? Some other
Equinox card is supported, but not this type/revision? Or I'm really
hoping the code is in some state of near-completion or has been put on
the back burner ..

Can anyone enlighten me as to how I might go about getting this card
working? I am opposed to linux and/or NT :]

Mr Eager,
  C.
