Old .depend file, more than likely, sitting stray in there *somewhere*.
(The config.h file in question was made MI and now lives in
src/gnu/lib/libiberty, without the arch subdir.)

Make sure a .depend file is not in src/gnu/lib/libiberty (the source, not
obj, directory) -- it may be stray from some old non-obj build, and would
not in that case be caught by "make cleandir".
