Hey, all,

Every now and then I experience panic->ddb on my i386 (surprise (not)).
They usually happen while I'm in an X session (surprise (not)).

The kernel says something about being able to push PF12 while in X
to get to the debugger [I assume this is F12; I've tried F12 and
every combination of control, shift and alt].  Nothing seems to
work.

Am I misreading this, or is there something I'm missing?
