As far as I know, I've never had a NetBSD crash that wasn't caused by
outright hardware failure.
My first NetBSD system was a 486/66 running NetBSD 0.9a. It ran from
April 1994 until January 1997 when it crashed due to a lightning
strike. During that time it was a netboot server, samba server, ftp
server, and webserver.
As long as there is power, my NetBSD boxes just keep running.
