I have also updated my XFree to 4.2 to test TrueType fonts with
"xtt" or "freetype" module. Everything is fine like 4.1.0.
The *.ttf in /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/TTF can be used well, too.
So I think it is not the problem of module.
I use "nv" server with 4.2 for my TNT2 M64 vga card running
under -current i386.
