Can not play any files .wav or .au with simple 'cat file.wav > /dev/audio , ls -l audio -> audio0
xanim file.wav returns " Audio_Init: Error opening audio device."
pointing /dev/audio to -> /dev/sound0 makes no difference.
# audioctl -w play=44100,2,16,sliner_le fails with audioctl: Bad format
dmesg | grep irq gives fxp0, uhci0,uhci1 and auich0 all on irq 9, is this my problem?
