What kind of drives were you guys seeing this with?
Mine was a:
[...]
ahc0 at pci0 dev 17 function 0
ahc0: interrupting at irq 10
ahc0: aic7890/91 Wide Channel A, SCSI Id=7, 16/255 SCBs
scsibus0 at ahc0: 16 targets, 8 luns per target
cd0 at scsibus0 target 5 lun 0: <TOSHIBA, CD-ROM XM-6401TA, 1015> SCSI2 5/cdrom removable
cd0: sync (50.0ns offset 16), 8-bit (20.000MB/s) transfers
A Plextor CD-R/RW on the same chain works OK:
cd1 at scsibus0 target 4 lun 0: <PLEXTOR, CD-R PX-W124TS, 1.07> SCSI2 5/cdrom removable
cd1: sync (50.0ns offset 8), 8-bit (20.000MB/s) transfers
Also, I did verify the termination seems to be correct and re-plugged every
piece in. While doing this I verified that the failure occurs even with the
Toshiba being the only device on the bus (It's at the end of the chain both
in terms of ID's and physically and is the terminated device).
