I'm up to ~500mb for the files alone. You need room for "cvs" to work,
plus it only grows, never shrinks, so about 1 Gb would be good. You'll
also need another 1/2 Gb or so for the object dirs. You didn't ask
about it, but "xsrc" also tops 1/2 Gb (but including the objects), and
"pkgsrc", sources alone, tops 1.6G!
