Uh, you don't need any such thing, because unlike USB, firewire doesn't
suck; it's peer-to-peer. If you want to use firewire to connect your
NetBSD hosts together, you can do it today.
You might want to make the small hack to your firewire stack required to
remove the dumbass small MTU, however.
