Hi,
  I've been able to get the SBLive! driver to record on my PCI512. If you are 
interested, you can find the modified emuxki.c file at

   http://krlab.cs.ttu.edu/~marcy/emuxki.c

The recording capabilities are still quite limited, but I have neither the 
knowledge nor the time to go beyond this stage. 

For further information, have a look at the comments at the beginning of the 
file.
