Hello Greg.  Thanks for the explanation.  Now, I have what probably will
seem like a silly question.  Having been bitten once, we are going to put
the root onto a raid 1 set.  Once the raid is configured and set to
autoconfigure mode, do I need to move the file /etc/raid1.conf out of the
way so that the rc scripts won't try to configure an already configured
array?  Also, since my big array is already raid0, is there any reason why
the root can't be raid1?
