Here is more on the problem :

I did quit Xfree before the cronjob to begin.
The mac did freeze with this simple message :

	wdc0:0:1: lost interrupt
	type: ata tc_bcount: 512 tc_skip: 0

It's a G4 with 256Mo of RAM ans 1Go of swap-space.
The hard drive (wd0) is a brand new 40Go IBM.

I hope someone have a clue about it !
Perhaps the daily cronjob is not faulty but...
Should I submit a PR (critical ?)
