I've only been able to find fleeting references to Locus. What I've read
is that Locus was a clustering project at Berkeley in the early 80s that
basically implemented a distributed version of the Unix API. I also read
that it was slow. Someone mentioned using it on VAXen, and I am guessing
it might have had something to do with BSD a long time ago.

Do you know of anywhere on the web where I can read more about Locus?

Thanks,

Ben
