Archives of tech-toolchain on mail-index.netbsd.org go back to 1997.

you may want to peruse the list of lists on http://mail-index.netbsd.org .

we regularly enhance our make and use its new features.

take a look at src/UPDATING. we have a number of cases where we say
"if you get <obscure make syntax error>, rebuild make first".

building a matching make as an early phase of the system build is a
good way to avoid requiring manual intervention like this.
