I have been trying out the VMware port to NetBSD and have had
success for the most part. But I've run into an issue with the
system being able to reach the "Internet."

I am running VMware on a system behind my firewall. I'm using
192.168 for addresses on my home network.

The VMware vmnet module is configured by default to use 172.16.212.

I have NAT running on both my firewall system and the VMware
system.

The problem (other than I can't get out to the Internet from
the virtual machine) appears as my firewall rejecting packets
it is seeing with 172.16.212 addresses.

What the heck have I done wrong that is allowing 172 packets to
avoid being mapped by the VMware host system onto my 192 network?

Cheers,
