GENERIC should be all right. DEBUG and SCSIVERBOSE might be useful, don't
know. If it fails I'll need log generated after you set ncr53c9x_debug to
0x3ff. You break to ddb (yea, you need DDB in your config, just checked
sparc/conf/GENERIC has commented it out) and 
write ncr53c9x_debug 0x3ff
