hmm, this is a ss20 (ross) and a ss5. in fact, i've never been able
to build a functional ld.elf_so since i started following current
(~1.5BETA).
i dont think i'm missing any recommended steps. roughly,
<new kernel & reboot>
cleandir
<consult UPDATING>
make obj
make build or release
i'm at a loss as to why it fails. am i correct that it's purpose is
to load and relocate the dynamic libs?
