I have a brand new Thinkpad 240X. I got NetBSD1.5 up and
running, but experience Problems with PCMCIA cards in the cardbus
When inserting the D-Link DFE-650 I get a:
ne0: ne0 at pcmcia0 function 0
ne: can't match ethernet vendor code
The same happens with the 1.5R kernel from the February
snapshot on ftp.netbsd.org.
But when I check with the source code I find that this card
seems to be supported.
A PCMCIA Fritz!card (v2.0) stops the kernel with:
kernel: page fault trap, code=0
Stopped in pid 3 (cardslot0) at pcmcia_scan_cis+0x1a6
Is this the same as in bug report 9984 which seems to
be fixed recently (but after the snapshot :-) ???
TIA for any hints.
