Subject: Wildly flaky NAT

I'm trying to use a low-profile Compaq (SFF Deskpro EN P667) as a NAT
router, and I'm getting panicked reboots on the order of one every five to
fifteen minutes of usage. The chipset is an i815e; using the fxp0 patch
against 1.5 from Giles Lean (see current-users, 12/05/2000) and using 1.5S
sup from March 6 yields the same errors:

Mar 12 10:27:32 marduk /netbsd: fxp0: WARNING: SCB timed out!
Mar 12 10:27:48 marduk last message repeated 68 times
Mar 12 10:33:04 marduk /netbsd: fxp0: WARNING: SCB timed out!
Mar 12 10:33:21 marduk last message repeated 85 times

Sometimes this will recover, mostly does not (it's rebooting now, after
having just finished a reboot not three minutes ago)
While I don't have ddb compiled in just yet, I have been able to catch this
fault:
fatal trace trap in supervisor mode
trap type 5 code 0 elp c01000ff cs 0 eflags 246 cr2 0051000 cpl 0
panic: trap

Dunno if this is x86-specific, or a problem with the fxp driver against the
i815e. I'll try to catch it through the debugger; I guess I could try a
completely different NIC as a workaround.

My latest dmesg:
