I've just checked in changes to make NFS do actual vnode locks.
This has some positive side effects, for example the 'concurrent
write' panics in -current should be history, and layering of
filesystems can now be done sanely with NFS.
Note that using unionfs with NFS may actually stop working because
of this, because it previously worked by chance; locking problems
were 'avoided' because NFS didn't have any locks.
If you are seeing locking problems with NFS after this change,
let me know.
