}What is the error message you get? kinit -4 against a Heimdal server
}works fine.
I've done a ktrace before, and as far as I can tell, it's checking
with both our unix kerberos servers and with our windows domain controllers
(which are only K5).
bb# kinit -4 gendalia

kinit: converting creds: Cannot contact any KDC for requested realm
If the ktrace.out would be interesting, I can make it available
(I changed my password for the ktrace) if it would help.
