If you upgraded your kernel in the last couple of days, you might
have noticed that old binaries of disklabel and friends failed with
'Inappropriate ioctl'. This was an oversight, also on my part, sorry about
that one.
It's now fixed, a new kernel will work just fine with older binaries.
Of course, if you want to use more than 8 partitions (the old maximum),
you do have to recompile and install disklabel(8), newfs(8) and
anything else that deals with disklabels.
