me.  and here's what i added to rc.conf:

rc_configured=YES
hostname="tweedlebsd"
domainname="graffiti.com"
defaultroute="206.223.36.4"
clear_tmp=NO

other than those changes, it's completely stock built.  no ipf, no
wacky routes, no aliases, no changes to any rc.d scripts.
