just updated to a current kernel (and libc and libkvm) after a week
or so on holiday (kernel is current as of anoncvs about an hour ago):
With the little vmtest program:
before update: (expected) wrong output
after update: works on ffs, segv's on lfs, segv's on union mount.

Other programs also have some problems on lfs and union mounts, or
moving between them and other file systems.

Didn't notice anything in the heads-up about it.  Can't remember
if there was anything in the original tech-* list note about it.

Is this known and being worked on? (otherwise, I'll send-pr it tomorrow).
