Hi folks,
driver for MOXA C168H multiport serial ISA board written by Christop Badura got
committed into tree. It's still very experimental - though it was
reported to work, it lacks support for quite a few features
the card has (i.e. autoconfiguration and such).
If you have access to the card, it would be really cool
if you could try out -current kernel with it and report whether
or not it works for you. Example entry was added to -current
GENERIC; you need to add:
moxa0 at isa? port 0x100 irq 5 # MOXA C168H serial card (experimental)
com* at moxa? slave ?
I don't have access to the card myself, so I'd be interested
in how much working the driver is. Note that MOXA claims the card
supports any IRQ (2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 10, 11, 12, 15 is listed)
and I/O address (0x0000 -- 0xFFFF). If you'd need other configuration
line than the one above, I'd like to know that too.
