$ There are two possible problems here: 1) your ldconfig is too old (it
$ probably is, I only changed it recently to look at /emul/aout/etc/ld.so.conf),

It may be right.
My ldconfig built on -D 2000-08-11 ELF system.

I have a one more question.
My /emul/aout/etc/ls.so.conf is below.

# cat /emul/aout/etc/ld.so.conf
/emul/aout/usr/lib
/emul/aout/usr/X11R6/lib

Is it right or not?
If it is not right,How can I write /emul/aout/etc/ld.so.conf?

$ or 2) you do not have libcrypt in /emul/aout/usr/lib.

I have libcrypt in /emul/aout/usr/lib.
My /emul/aout/usr/lib is as below:

# ls /emul/aout/usr/lib
libamu.so.1.1 libg2c.so.0.0 libobjc.so.0.0 libtelnet.so.1.0
libbfd.so.3.0 libgnumalloc.so.0.0 libossaudio.so.0.0 libtermcap.so.0.0
libbz2.so.0.0 libi386.so.0.2 libpcap.so.0.0 libtermlib.so.0.0
libc.so.12.40 libkeycap.so.0.0 libposix.so.0.1 libutil.so.5.0
libcrypt.so.0.0 libkvm.so.5.0 libresolv.so.1.0 libwrap.so.0.0
libcurses.so.2.2 libm.so.0.1 libskey.so.0.0 libz.so.0.1
libedit.so.2.2      libntp.so.0.0       libstdc++.so.2.0

$
$ My guess is #1, though.
$

I think you are right. I will do 'make build with lastest src'.
