Can you be more specific?  Still works for me on 1.5E, and "find"
hasn't been touched since I last built.

They should have been changed at the same time; certainly my -current
sendmail references "/etc/mail/sendmail.cf".  Are you perhaps building
with incomplete/inconsistent sources?
