Subject: Stupid (?) question: rpcbind/ypbind

I'm in the midst, apparently, of an upgrade, and had to install
/etc/netconfig, build rpcbind, delete portmap...
...and now ypbind doesn't bind; rather, it hangs.
So my NIS is now hosed. That, coupled with the fact that I can't get
a successful build even after a completely new cvs co src-crypto-all
(with no errors) and a cvs update -P -d (with no errors). This as
of 23:30 14 Sep 2000 PDT.
Kernel is 1.5E (-current).
Any non-NULL pointers would be appreciated.
