Weird.  I have the same one (bought at Fry's a few months ago) that reports
itself as:

ulpt0 at uhub0 port 1 configuration 1 interface 0
ulpt0: vendor 0x0557 product 0x2001, rev 1.00/1.50, addr 2, iclass 7/1
