Hello,

on my NetBSD-current (1.5E at the moment) system I keep getting mails
from "cron" caused by "newsyslog" like this one:

From root@lyssa.zhadum.de Tue Aug 22 00:00:00 2000
[...]
From: root@lyssa.zhadum.de (Cron Daemon)
To: root@lyssa.zhadum.de
Subject: Cron <root@lyssa> /usr/bin/newsyslog

newsyslog: /var/log/authlog.0.gz: No such file or directory

Except for a few permission changes my "/etc/newsyslog.conf" is identical
to the one in "src/etc". Did anybody else observe this?
