If you don't find all the information you need I'd suggest you try and
get in touch with Amanda Walker. You will find her postings on some of
the Mac Comm Usenet groups. She wrote the original SLIP implementation
for MacOS and helped the folks at Univerity of Michigan debug their
inital PPP implementation when she was with InterCon. They have been
bought out by Lucent (I think) and she now works on Mac and PC cards and
drivers that implement the "airport" stuff. She's been pretty active
answering questions about this technology and how it interacts between
the Mac and PC.
