I just updated to 1.5A, and rebuilt the world, my kernel, and everything.
and im having problems with login/passwd/su, and the like... they are all
trying to use a kerberos server for authentication, and i'm not running
one, and never was. I removed all the kerberos config files from /etc, got
rid of all the krb* files in /tmp, and deleted the /var directories that
krb uses.
the problem is still there.

NetBSD eros.endersgame.net 1.5A NetBSD 1.5A (JANE) #8: Wed Jun 21 01:11:14
EDT 2000 dive@eros.endersgame.net:/usr/src/sys/arch/i386/compile/JANE i386

some of the errors i get:

[dive@eros(/home/dive/pr)|13]> passwd
dive@ENDERSGAME.NET's Password:
passwd: failed to get credentials: Cannot contact any KDC for requested
realm

^ note here: i never made a realm, i have no kerberos configuration files,
and everything was *fine* before the integration.
* perhaps it shouldnt automatically assume you want kerberos to control
authentication?
