Can't comment on that, @netbsd.org works for me (no idea on the archives,
but nor do I care, nothing I have to say is worth archiving...)

netbsd.org has no A records - if you can find anything in the DNS that
assigns an address to netbsd.org (as distinct from www.netbsd.org or
ftp.netbsd.org (etc)) then that thing is badly broken.
