There are some pieces which are worth being kept:
-the downloadable fonts (Util/fonts), preferrably with
 documentation (Doc/CharGen)
-the "vttest" utility (Util/vttest)
-the demos (Util/demo)

The fonts could go into eg share/fonts/*, the vttest
perhaps into regress (it's interactive however),
don't know for the demos yet.
