# Sure it's not a DNS query delay? I've seen this when ssh'ing in from

# the server?

YES, I am *sure* this is not DNS. I do it from localhost to localhost,
i.e. on the same machine, and it still takes 25-30 seconds.

Load average is less than 0.3.

Machine is a SS5/170.
