Oh, that's interesting. We are using the original Orinoco (Lucent) ISA ones.
We spent several thousands DM on the whole stuff, so throwing a few hundred
DM more on if it improves performance significantly would be a good idea.

I wonder why this would make a difference, which chipsets do the adapter
use? Can you show dmesg output and actual transfer rate? Should we put an
entry in our WaveLAN FAQ?

The only other time I use this kind of adapters is with raylink aviator cards,
and it obviously makes no difference there (the cards are 2 MBit only).
