Folks,
        I have updated my sources just now and when I try to do a make
build it falls over in lib/libposix with this:

building standard posix library
ranlib libposix.a
building profiled posix library
ar: file: No such file or directory
*** Error code 1

Stop.

For some reason make is refusing to build the .po object files, it
just refuses to do it.  What's wrong?
