i've been dealing with some sendmail people on getting newer releases
of sendmail to build and install more cleanly on 1.4.x and on current
and they all exhibited surprise at the fact that sendmail is not
allowed into the tree any more.
i'm not a lawyer...yadda yadda yadda...and i don't even pretend to
understand the intricacies of either licence style (bsd or sendmail).
but can someone please, without too much prejudice against sendmail
coloring any statements, paint some broad strokes for me as to what
the actual conflicts are? pointers to clauses would be very helpful.
thanks.
