There are a set of patches for 1.4.1 which work well. Check the changes
history (I can't remember the URL off hand). They work very well for me
on my 1.4.1 box. I have tried two models of the Hauppauge WinTV, and
both work excellently. I believe Berndt Wolf (who created the
patches) has been working on a driver which correctly utilizes
the mach independant structure (the patches provided will work for only
i386 IIRC).
Hope this helps.
