Does anyone have a suggestion/solution for this "problem":
Where I work we are permitted to bring personal computing equipment into
the office (Palm, laptops, etc) as long as they aren't connected to the
company's LAN. We are however permitted to connect them to our company
supplied Desktops which are PCs running Windows-95/98/NT. So my
co-workers have asked if there's any software available for NetBSD that
would allow a laptop running NetBSD to connect to the Desktop via
parallel or serial port for the purpose of doing disk sharing and/or file
transfers. The best solution would be something like Samba that would
allow the NetBSD filesystems to be mounted on the Windows Desktop. Does
something like this exist? Does anyone have any other ideas for a
solution?
Thanks,
