Can I ask why file(1) takes 8 seconds or more on an SS2 to determine
what kind of file a _symlink_ is (and whither it points)?
Shouldn't the magic file read be deferred until it actually hits a
file?
...Should I PR this? That a simple file utility should take 8 seconds
to start just floors me.
...p'raps I should rebuild it and see what happens. Do we need to
do something to convert magic into magic.db?
