I'm certainly not going to put my ISDN knowledge against yours .... _but_ ...
all the ISDN equipment I've ever installed (which really isn't that much)
always required a setting _other_ than NI-1 for the switch type.  Maybe
that's configurable at the switch, I dunno, but I always got the impression
from various telco types that you very rarely used NI-1.  (But like I
said .... my ISDN knowledge doesn't compare to yours, obviously).  Is
NI-1 used a whole lot and I'm simply not aware of it?
