	I guess the statement should be amended: the cause related to Soft
Updates which I found is gone. 8-)  I don't make claims that it can't be
somewhere else in the kernel, or possibly a second cause in Soft
Updates. But there was one blatant mistake in the soft updates code
which is fixed.
