This option makes my machine die with a uvm_fault, I am using -current
from around 19/2/2000. I get this when I boot a kernel with PCIBIOS
in it:
BIOS Rev. 0 found at 0xfe95b
PCI BIOS Rev. 2.1 found at 0xfebd4
pcibios: config mechanism [1][x], special cycles [x][x], last bus 3
uvm_fault(0xc02999e0, 0xf000, 0, 1) -> 1
kernel: page fault trap, code=0
stopped in swapper at 0xc0349c0d: repe movsb (%esi),%es:(%edi)
I have updated the BIOS on the laptop just recently during my
thrashing around trying to stop it hanging.
