It is not The True Vi.
nvi has the best compatability with Berkeley vi, and I believe it has the
best implementation of infinite undo.
Currently, the other *BSD's, and BSD/OS, are using nvi; I would rather avoid
that gratuitous incompatability.

It's a nice editor, but I believe that nvi is the most-consistent of the
family. At least, it's the only one I never get tripped up by.
