Wow!

# make build > build.log 2>&1

used to take about 3 hours on my laptop, and generate a 4.3MB file.

Now it takes 4 hours and 20 minutes, and generates a 9.4MB file.

How does the existance of $CRYPTOBASE make the build stuff expand like
this?
