I compiled and installed on i386 from sources built on 20000203,
include crypto-us, with KERBEROS5=yes.  The default installation no
longer allows ftp connections, anonymous or not:

riven.home.net [jlam] -> ftp localhost
Connected to localhost.
421 Service not available, remote server has closed connection.
ftp>

Can anyone explain why this happens?  Note that this is the *default*
installation from sources.
