It's been a long time since I started this thread, but I finally found =
time
to set up my CD and CD-R and install cdrdao (and xcdrdao). The build =
went
all right, but it can't seem to find my drives. My dmesg output reads =
as
follows:

scsibus0: waiting 2 seconds for devices to settle...
sd0 at scsibus0 targ 0 lun 0: <IBM, DNES-309170W, SA30> SCSI3 0/direct =
fixed
sd0(ncr0:0:0): WIDE SCSI (16 bit) enabled
sd0(ncr0:0:0): 40.0 MB/s (50 ns, offset 16)
sd0: 8748 MB, 11474 cyl, 5 head, 312 sec, 512 bytes/sect x 17916240 =
sectors
scsibus1: waiting 2 seconds for devices to settle...
ahc1: target 2 synchronous at 10.0MHz, offset =3D 0x8
cd0 at scsibus1 targ 2 lun 0: <PLEXTOR, CD-R PX-R820T, 1.03> SCSI2 =
5/cdrom
rem
ovable
ahc1: target 3 synchronous at 20.0MHz, offset =3D 0xf
cd1 at scsibus1 targ 3 lun 0: <PLEXTOR, CD-ROM PX-40TS, 1.10> SCSI2 =
5/cdrom
remo
vable
boot device: sd0

So, I tell cdrdao to use cd0 and cd1, but I keep getting these errors:

ERROR: Cannot open SCSI device '1,2,0':
ERROR: Cannot open SCSI device '1,3,0':

I'm doing this as root, and I can mount and unmount CDs fine on =
/dev/cd1. I
think I'm instructing cdrdao correctly (scsibus1,target2,lun0), but I'm =
not
100% sure. As this is my first time playing with CDs under *BSD, I'm =
not
sure where to poke next. Anyone care to share an idea?

thanks,
Edwin

Sorry, I'd forgotten that I didn't get this via /usr/pkgsrc. Here is
where I found it:
