I don't know, but I would guess that the switch does. It has a
counter for `undersize frames', but it doesn't say if it's in, out, or
both, but I guess that it wouldn't try to forward short frames.
Sending data to the machine (with ttcp) works fine at about 70 Mbit/s.
From the machine doesn't work so well, the diode on the dongle goes
out for a second now and then, which indicates retransmissions, and I
only get about 15 Mbit/s.
