Do you, or anyone else, have access to a Handspring Visor?
I looked at the Linux code for it, and it appears to be almost trivial to
write a driver that makes it appear as a serial port.

If someone is interested in testing a driver, and perhaps even helping
with debugging, then I'll write one.
